Kristen Anne Bell (born July 18th, 1980)[1] is an American actress and singer. Her acting career began in the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. There, she starred in performances on stage. The comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was her Broadway debut. The Crucible revival came out in the following year. In 2004, she starred in the action-thriller Spartan (2004). The film was also recognized for her portrayal of Becky thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the year following, she appeared on Broadway in a revival of the Crucible. The role that she played in the 2014 film was reprised and revived for the 2019. During her time in Veronica Mars, Bell starred as Mary Lane in the musical film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) which was which was a reprise of the role she had performed in the New York musical of the same name.Bell played the role of Elle Bishop in the superhero drama series Heroes from 2007 until 2008. Bell played the narrator of Heroes in the series for teens called Gossip Girl, reprising the character in the sequel 2021. Bell also played Jeannie van der Hooven the female protagonist on the Showtime comedy series House of Lies. Bell starred as Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading role on the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award. Bell also portrayed the role of Eleanor Shellstrop in the streaming show The Woman in the Home The Girl in the Window Across the Street Girl in the Window.
