Aura Garcia Sanchez plays an actress on Spanish TV and films. She appeared in films including Stockholm and in the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is the daughter of Madrid born native of 1989. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and their mother Pilar Sanchez is a painter. When she took her first piano class when she was four years old, she started to learn ballet. She is fluent in English due to her english-speaking friend as a child. Her high-school studies over and she attended Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. In the school, she learned interpretation for three years, with a focus on translation of text. She left the school in 2010 when she got the role of Planes para manana. The role she played in the film was rewarded with a Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the most promising new actress.
